Ok, I know that it's the middle of January and I am posting about the previous year. Well we are just getting to it. We had a very eventful 2009, and it has been lots of fun. This is what we have been up to.......
January: This month we found out that Clint's sister Ashley was expecting and that our babies wouldn't be more than a month apart. It was so exciting because this would make grandchildren four and five for Clint's side of the family. We were pulling for a girl, but so far it's still just boys. Brackyn my little nephew also turned one this month!
February: Sorry to say that February is a blur. I can't even say that we had a really nice Valentines day. I think I worked, was sick all the time, and starting to feel fat. Yeah we will have to have a better February this year.
March: Clint and I had been going to church for some time, but this is the month that we actually had the courage to make that appointment with the bishop. We started becoming full tithe payers (which is very hard at first, but very rewarding we soon found out), and starting preparing to go through the temple. On Saint Patricks Day we found out that we were for sure having a little Boy!!! We were so excited it would be the first boy my dad would get to play with
after having four girls.
April: We had a nice Easter, and I was still faster than everybody in the Easter egg hunt, pregnant and all.
May: We took a trip to Las Vegas to see Clint's cousin get married and take a few days off. This trip we also found out Garrett would be having another baby. Yeah, this trip was a little stressful. But it was fun to be with everyone. Clint's parents invited us to stay with them for a weekend in Midway. If only I had lots of money, this is where I would live. Absolutely beautiful!!!
June: Stratten celebrated his first birthday! I ended up going to the hospital in the mid month due to bad cramping. Doctor gave me the weekend off and told me not to work so hard. I also had my baby shower in Ogden which was very nice. Clint has such a good and supportive family. Clint and I celebrated our first anniversary. We only went out to dinner (yeah, this year needs to be better).
July: July I was about ready to kill everyone. I couldn't eat enough popsicles to stay cool. I was so tired of being sick and pregnant. At my Doctor visit on July 30th he induced me. I was so excited.
August: Brigston came early morning of August 1st. Yeah I was exhausted but everything went well so we were all happy. We also had to make a trip a week later to Ogden because Ashley had Hesston August 9th. These cute little boys are only one week apart. We also to Brigs
on his first camping trip this month up Huntington canyon.
September: We all took a trip camping on Huckleberry Mountain up by Bear Lake. It was the first time I have ever picked huckleberries and we made the best pies. It was so much fun. This is also the first time I have ever been past bear lake. We booked a trip for this summer so once I saw it, I was so excited for our trip. Also to get our boat on that water. We haven't used it once this past year.
October: We were sealed October 10, 2009 in the Manti Temple. It was a very beautiful day. This month was also Brigstons first Hunting trip was this month. We stayed at a motel in Tory with our good friends Jeanna and Brady. It was also Brig's first Halloween and everyone came to Price because Brigs would be blessed the next day.
November: November 1st was Brigstons blessing day, which Grandpa Laughter gave him a beautiful blessing. This month we also had our first Thanksgiving, which I spent working. Brigston ate his first rice cereal
and started rolling over that weekend.
December: Keaston turned one, and Garrett has his third son. We had our first Christmas with Brigs, and loved seeing all our family. Brigston is now rolling all over the place and knows what he wants. I think we will for sure be busy when he figures out how to crawl. I also got a late Christmas present that I really didn't want. Our washing machine went out so we had to get a new one. I do like the front loaders though, my fabric softener seems to work better in it.
Brigs has found that tongue
Yeah we have had a great year, and hope 2010 is only better. Some of our goals this year are to work on food storage, have a garden that doesn't get destroyed by a hail storm ( and not plant so many radishes LOL.), build a shed this summer to help with storage, and also to be frugal and spend as much time as we can with family. Brigs is growing too fast as it is and we want to have lots of good times with him. There is probably a lot more that happened throughout the year, but this is what I could think of off the top of my head.
